Waterlines
"Care and listen - can you see?
Coming , going, running low
Take me for granted - and reveal,
The silence worn by what you steal.
Being trapped, nowhere to go.
Do you think you know me well?
Did you pour me from the stone?
Little do you know before.
But ages pass, as you will, too.
Each drop remembers what it’s told.
a ferryman, a chunk of gold.
Take your hand and reach for ground.
Be the one who will be found."
Waterlines is the second participatory dance performance with volunteer performers under the scope of the Global waters Dances and the Berlin-based initiative Urban Waters - following a one-week intense performance workshop in June 2025 at Holzmarkt25 / The Studio e.V..
Every two years in over 100 cities worldwide dancers, performers, social groups gather to advocate for clean water as a resource of live and well being, citing poems, moving, dancing, performing rituals and connecting people who are interested to keep our water clean and healthy.
